About me
Hello! I'm Ramez, the proud owner of Longarm Threadworks LLC. Let me take you back to where it all began—the quilt shop owned by my Uncle and his wife. As a young enthusiast, I spent countless hours there, immersing myself in the art of quilting from the ground up.
One fateful day, I discovered Longarm quilting—a captivating technique that breathed new life into fabric creations, sparking an intense surge of creativity in my heart. The magic of guiding a Longarm machine to create intricate patterns and textures on quilts took my breath away.
Fueled by passion and determination, I embarked on my own Longarm quilting journey. Investing in my first Longarm machine, I transformed a dream into reality, opening my shop in Livonia, Michigan.
At Longarm Threadworks LLC, my mission is deeply personal—to provide exceptional Longarm quilting services that bring out the beauty and soul of each quilt. I believe that every stitch holds a story, and I'm devoted to weaving your unique narrative into the fabric of your quilts.
Join me in this creative adventure, and let's turn your quilt into a stunning masterpiece that reflects your vision and emotion.
As you explore the gallery, witness the artistry and heartfelt dedication my Longarm services have brought to fellow quilting enthusiasts like you.
Thank you for visiting! Let's create together quilting wonders that tug at your heartstrings and showcase your imagination. Let's weave your stories into fabric artistry!

My first Quilt
I’m thrilled to share my very first quilt! It’s a Halloween themed design that I absolutely loved creating. For the backing, I chose a soft and cozy Shannon minky fabric, making it perfect for snuggling up on chilly nights.
I used an edge-to-edge spiderweb pattern for the Longarm quilting, stitched in a vibrant Halloween orange that really makes the design pop.
This project has been such a fun and creative journey, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
